Abdullokh Negmatov: "International education can serve as a powerful tool for the comprehensive development of Uzbekistan"

Abdulloh, what are the main aspects shaping the country's educational landscape and opening up new perspectives for students and professionals? During an interview with J News with Abdullokh Negmatov-entrepreneur, founder and director of the international educational agency "Unit Consult", we will discuss current trends in the field of education and consulting in Uzbekistan, find out which countries and universities are most in demand among Uzbek students, as well as how Abdullokh Negmatov sees it future education in Uzbekistan in 10 years.
  • Abdulloh, please tell us about your experience of studying abroad. How did he influence your decision to establish the international educational agency "Unit Consult"?

Abdulloh.: My experience of studying abroad began with obtaining a bachelor's degree from one of the leading universities in Russia. This experience opened up a new world for me, full of opportunities and challenges. I faced many difficulties before applying, ranging from adapting to a new educational system to culture shock. However, it was these tests that helped us understand how important support is for students studying abroad. Then I came up with an idea why applicants from the CIS should work hard before entering. At that time, I decided to open an international educational agency "Unit Consult", which makes it easier for applicants to enter top universities in Russia and adapt.

  • What are the main difficulties that you and your team have seen in students studying abroad, and how do you help them overcome these difficulties?

Abdulloh.: 90% of students find out that after applying for a contract, they could enroll on a budget basis. Since the regulations of universities of the Russian Federation specify in the entry point that "Foreign citizens cannot study on a budget basis, without confirming the status of a compatriot", and we provide students with full support before admission, so that they can successfully enroll in a free education. There is another nuance that students face after admission, and everyone knows exactly what I mean. And yes, it's housing. We also help students find suitable accommodation closer to the university to make it easier for them to get there.

  • What are the main services offered by Unit Consult and how does your agency differ from other educational agencies in Uzbekistan

Abdulloh.: Collecting and preparing a package of documents; Submission of documents; Registration in the university's personal account; Creating an application for admission; Communication with the university; Testing of knowledge in entrance subjects; University selection and directions; Sign up for preparatory courses; Registration of insurance.

In Uzbekistan, our agency is different from others. You may ask why. And I'll tell you, we provide you with a transfer service, meet each student from the airport and tell you, show you many moments that everyone is silent about. Also, we help each student to complete the sessions before the end of their studies.

After successful admission to the University, we help students adapt to another city for a year and a half.

  • How do you assess the current trends in the field of education and consulting? What changes have you seen in recent years?

Abdulloh.: I will tell you this: at the moment, in our modern world, education is reaching a new level. Every year, more and more educational institutions are opening up with new opportunities and new teaching methods. But, in my field of activity, nothing has changed. We try to keep up with the trends, and still maintain our status and rating. We provide the best services among other companies.

  • Which countries and universities are most popular among Uzbek students, and why do you think they choose them?

Abdulloh.: Of course, students choose universities in the Russian Federation. You may ask why? And because, first of all, it is low prices for the contract and not only (do not forget about housing), when compared with the European Union. Secondly, convenience and sociability with the Russian people. And third, it's the language. Since most people in Uzbekistan understand and speak Russian in addition to their native language. And this is a great advantage in the future.

  • Can you share the success stories of students who have applied to your agency and achieved great success?

Abdulloh.: Of course, I have such students. One of them is named Sadi. He entered the PSUPE for the specialty "Railway rolling stock" with the specialization "High-speed land transport". At the moment, he has successfully completed his training and works in the Ministry of Transport Affairs. And I have a lot of such students (smiles).

  • What steps does Unit Consult take to ensure the quality of education and support students abroad?

Abdulloh.: Everything is done in stages in 4 steps: the first step, we collect and translate all the necessary documents. Step two: create a personal account on the website of the university chosen by the student. Step three: we keep in touch with the university and notify you about the VI completion dates. Step four: we create applications for admission and send them to the admissions committee along with all the collected documents.

  • What advice would you give to young entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan who want to start their own business in the field of education and consulting?

A. B.: This question is very difficult to answer. After all, everyone should come to this on their own. In my personal opinion, this service is now provided by every second person, but not everyone can provide the conditions that we can. This is very difficult. And not everyone can handle it.

  • How do you see the development of educational opportunities in Uzbekistan in the next 5-10 years?

A. B.: I can say one thing: Uzbekistan is trying to improve the education sector. And in addition, branches of universities from other countries are opening in Uzbekistan, which is very good. Moving to another country for the sake of a university where you want to study is difficult. And here opens a branch of Togo

the university itself, that's great. And I think that in 10 years there will be huge changes in education and new prospects will open up.

      • What contribution do you think international education can make to the development of the economy and society Of Uzbekistan?

A. B.: International education can serve as a powerful tool for the comprehensive development of Uzbekistan, contributing to economic growth, social program and integration of the country into the global community.

      • How do you keep in touch with students after they enroll in foreign universities?

A. B.: We keep in touch until the end of your studies at the university. If you have any difficulties or questions, we will always help you cope with them. We also help students with closing the session. So my students can fully trust us.

      • What personal qualities have helped you achieve success in your business and what inspires you to continue working in this field?

A. B.: There was a time when no one helped me and I had to act on my own. After that, I realized that there are a lot of people like me and they are looking for help and hints in this direction. I will not praise myself, but I like the quality of a perfectionist in myself. I like everything to be perfect and always go to the end. Every student who graduated from university with my help inspires me.

      • What are your plans for "Unit Consult" and what new initiatives do you plan to implement to improve educational and consulting services?

A. B.: At the moment, we work very closely with universities from Russia. I will show you my cards and tell you that by the end of August I plan to open new universities, but already in the European Union. This will allow many people to get an education in the world's leading universities.

      • Thank you for the interview.

A. B.: Thank you very much! Success and development.
